Root, Milk and Cake Press.

Just before my son was born, I finished a term as Artist in Residence at Everglades National Park, very near where much of Peninsular Scar takes place. Root, forthcoming in fall 2022, will reflect the work I’ve done since then, which circles around pregnancy and parenthood. Poems from Root appear in Florida Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Massachusetts Review, Thrush, and more.

Differential diagnosis from the Santa Anas, Harbor Editions.

This chapbook charts the speaker’s internal weather, mirrored in Orange County’s external weather. Poems appear or will soon in Bennington Review, Prairie Schooner, The Shore, and Waccamaw

Peninsular Scar, published by Dancing Girl Press in 2018, explores memory, mental illness, & the trauma of natural disasters, through the lens of South Florida ecology.

[Kaminski] reverses the usual location of the body within landscape. Instead, she locates Florida landscapes and cultures within the body and within a dense, personal past, while acknowledging the slippery nature of memory, the past, and the scar itself.
